Mission
PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, Bathinda Cantt, established in 1978, aims to:
- Impart education to the children of transferable Central Government employees, including defence and paramilitary personnel, as per the guidelines of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.
- Provide a platform for innovation and experimentation, motivating students to participate in various Government of India activities and benefit from them.
- Broaden and diversify the teaching-learning process by using technology, an interdisciplinary approach, and innovative pedagogies.
- Offer the facilities of a special educator, infrastructure for differently-abled students, and inclusive education that fosters human values and collaborative learning.
- The school ensures that academic and extracurricular activities go hand in hand, encouraging interdisciplinary and experiential learning to strengthen conceptual knowledge.
